Photos

Male from Melbourne - City, VIC

Jaymee Lee has been working as a freelance bassist and tutor for the last 10 years on the North Coast of New South Wales and has just relocated to Melbourne, Australia. To date, he has been a ‘first-call’ sub for many local cover bands whilst holding down the bottom end in his former band The Henchmen. He has completed contracts in the show band aboard the P&O Cruise ship the T.S.S ‘Pacific Sky’, performed at Byron Bay’s East Coast Blues and Roots Festival and held a lecturing position at Southern Cross University, Lismore.

As a session bassist, Jaymee is happy to lay down the groove all night long, but can surprise with hidden technical facility when called for. He is dependable for direction and able to drive a band from the backline with his confident and solid bass lines. Conversant in many musical styles, Jaymee is highly regarded amongst his peers as having a reputation for reliability and for his notable ability to seamlessly fill in at short notice.
